Job Description
RN / Wellness Director This position requires three days per week in the office and additional responsibilities in an "on-call" role for the facility. Marjorie House Memory Care Community in McMinnville is currently looking for an RN to join our team as a Wellness Director in a resident centered, caring environment for those with a diagnosis of Dementia. We are looking for individuals to join our team who will strive to meet our mission of "Building a foundation for a legacy of loving care".
Overview/Job Responsibilities:
- Provides direction of health services for memory care residents in accordance with OAR 411-054-0034-55, including RN Delegation as outlined in by the OAR and the State Board of Nursing, and RN oversight for the medication/care program
- Weekly wound inspection & documentation
- Initial resident assessments
- Complete significant change documentation
- Quarterly MAR reviews
- Communicate with outside physicians, providers and healthcare POAs
- Serve as part of the care team and clinical team
- Provide oversight and training of employees
Qualifications:
- Degree in Nursing and current Oregon Registered Nursing License. Experience in community-based care desired, but not required
- Must complete training assigned through Oregon Care Partners
- Must be able read, write and communicate with staff and residents in English
- Basic computer skills
Key Competencies:
Leadership, ability to work as part of a care team, excellent communication skills. Must be able to use excellent dementia communication skills to listen to, communicate with and be sensitive to each resident and family members. Attention to detail.Compensation:
