Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor to lead and coordinate nursing care within a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Long-Term Care (LTC) environment. Duties Supervise and mentor nursing staff, ensuring adherence to nursing policies, procedures, and state healthcare regulations Coordinate patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, and comprehensive physical examinations to develop individualized care plans Oversee medication administration, IV infusion therapy, catheter care, tube feeding, and other complex medical procedures in compliance with HIPAA and safety standards Manage documentation using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Cerner or eClinicalWorks, ensuring accuracy and completeness of medical records Conduct clinical audits, utilization review, discharge planning, and case management to optimize patient outcomes and resource utilization Ensure infection control protocols are followed rigorously; oversee specimen collection/processing and laboratory testing as needed Lead team meetings, manage staffing schedules, and foster a collaborative environment focused on high-quality patient care Requirements Valid RN license with current state registration; supervisory or management experience preferred Demonstrated expertise in long-term care regulations, nursing policy compliance, and healthcare documentation standards Extensive clinical experience including geriatrics, dementia care (Alzheimer's/memory care), behavioral health, and acute/chronic disease management Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Cerner or Athenahealth; familiarity with
ICD-9/10
