Strategy | Focus | Purpose We are searching for Professional and Compassionate Charge Nurses LVN | RN who can provide Residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan and as directed by supervisors. Key Responsibilities Provide compassionate licensed nursing care in accordance with resident care plans, physician orders, facility policies and applicable regulations Monitor resident condition, respond to changes, communicate updates to physicians and care team members, and evaluate resident response to care Administer, monitor and reconcile medications safely, including controlled substances, pharmacy deliveries and discharge medications Complete accurate charting, documentation, audits and required notifications related to admissions, transfers, discharges, incidents and resident care Support resident-centered care, including dignity, choice, trauma-informed practices, family education, dementia care approaches and safe transfers or discharges Assist with staffing, census accuracy, RAI-related processes, insurance authorizations, billing support, surveys and department policy compliance Promote a clean, safe and orderly environment by following infection prevention, sanitation, safety equipment and equipment maintenance procedures Participate in care coordination, committee meetings, QAPI efforts, staff education, coaching and continuing training Charge Nurse LVN | RN Qualifications Status | Shift | Hours PRN | Day & Night | Rotating Twelve Hours 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM | 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM Education Required | Nursing degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Registered Nurse program Experience | Skills | Knowledge Required Up to one year as a Floor or Charge Nurse in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related health care facility Training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served Be a supportive Team Member | Contribute to and be an example of Team work and concept Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action Deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public Ability and willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel Demonstrate patience, tact, cheerful disposition, enthusiasm and have the capability and soft skills to handle difficult residents Seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing nursing practices Relate information concerning a resident's conditions Not pose a direct threat to the health and safety of other individuals in the workplace Physical | Sensory Requirements Able to push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of twenty-five pounds to a minimum height of five feet and be able to push, pull, move and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of fifty feet May be necessary to assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situations Benefits Medical | Dental | Vision Basic Company Paid Life insurance Long Term Disability Voluntary Life Insurance for the Employee, Employee Spouse and Employee Children Short Term Disability, Cancer, Critical Illness, Accidental and Universal Life Daily Pay Paid Time Off Priority Management Group, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer that does not discriminate on the basis of actual or perceived race, creed, color, religion, alienage or national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, age, disability or handicap, sex, marital status, veteran status, sexual orientation, genetic information, arrest record, or any other characteristic protected by applicable Federal, State or Local laws.
