Responsibilities:

Oversee nursing staff and ensure adherence to hospital policies and procedures. Coordinate patient care activities and manage patient flow throughout the hospital. Serve as a resource and point of contact for all departments during assigned shifts. Manage staffing assignments and resolve any personnel issues that arise. Act as a liaison between medical staff, nursing staff, and administration. Conduct daily rounds to assess patient care needs and staff performance. Address any patient complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.

Qualifications:

Current RN licensure in the state of practice. Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate's degree acceptable with relevant experience. At least 3 years of clinical nursing experience, with prior supervisory experience preferred. Strong knowledge of hospital operations and regulatory compliance. Exceptional leadership and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to make quick, informed decisions in high-pressure situations. Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required. •Pay based on experience. Coryell Health pays shift differentials and offer incentives for float time.
