QUALIFICATIONS 1

• Hold a current state license as a, RN. 2
• Basic knowledge of state licensing requirements 3
• Be efficient and exercise good time management and judgment skills 4
• Must be able to pass a random drug screening 5
• Current TB test, health screening & finger printing as required by state licensing 6
• Negative criminal background record 7
• Ongoing compliance with company policies

PRIORITIES 1

• Help management maintain a 100% occupied building by providing excellent care and customer service to residents and their families. Help develop internal policies and systems to assist with resident care and medication delivery. 2
• Complete initial, change of condition and routine assessments making sure that the care plans are developed with staff and management input so the needs of the residents are being met. 3
• Audit weekly that all medications are managed in accordance with physician orders and licensing guidelines.

See that staff is trained to properly assist and follow the medication policy including: Following physician orders Storage and delivery of medications, which have a physician orders New physician orders are being implemented properly Proper documentation on the MAR's PRN medications are being documented properly 4

• Completed physical assessments of residents to assure there is no skin breakdown. 5
• Help in the coordination of resident care services by training staff through delegation and in-service. This may also require liaising with home health and hospice agencies. 6
• Be a resource to management and staff by being available to answer questions regarding resident care. 7
• Communicate with Dr.

s offices, pharmacies, families and administrators.
