Job Description

Inova Loudoun Hospital is seeking a full-time Nurse Manager for the Endoscopy unit. Full-time Monday-Friday schedule-7a-3.30p The Nurse Manager will lead a staff of approximately 30 team members to include nurses and techs. The Endoscopy Department currently operates two procedure suites that support both Endoscopy and Interventional Pulmonology services. To meet growing demand and enhance operational efficiency, the unit is undergoing expansion that includes two additional Endoscopy suites as well as the development of dedicated pre-operative and PACU space. Once completed, this investment will strengthen procedural capacity, improve patient throughput, and create a more seamless care experience for patients requiring endoscopic and pulmonary services.
Endoscopy Nurse Manager Responsibilities:
Supports Inova's mission and strategic plans by managing an Endoscopy unit with 24-hour responsibility. Provides input to budget development and attainment of fiscal goals. Ensures unit compliance with quality, safety, regulatory requirements, and Joint Commission standards. Demonstrates leadership traits and supporting behavioral competencies. Manages clinical and non-clinical staff, including day-to-day supervision, employee relations, and staff development. Responsible for oversight of unit schedule and filling staffing needs, to include clinical coverage of units as needed Serves as primary liaison and information resource for unit.

Endoscopy Nurse Manager Requirements:
Qualified candidates must have at least two years' clinical experience related to the unit's scope:
Endoscopy/Procedural:
(PreOp and Recovery) Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required. BLS Certification required. ACLS required for Emergency Department, Critical Care and procedural areas Licensure - Licensed or eligible for licensing in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse.
Endoscopy Nurse Manager preferred qualifications:
Prefer candidates with at least one year of prior managerial or supervisory experience For internal use only: IND1 #LI-KA1
