Unit Manager (LPN or RN)
Key Responsibilities Provide leadership and supervision to RNs, LPNs, and Nursing Assistants. Oversee planning, implementation, and evaluation of resident care. Ensure appropriate staffing and coverage. Collaborate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care. Actively participate in care plans and ensure assessments are completed and updated in accordance with state and federal regulations. Monitor documentation, resident condition changes, and staff performance to ensure compliance. Maintain regulatory readiness and implement corrective action plans as needed. Promote infection control, safety practices, and HIPAA compliance. Prepare reports, track quality indicators while supporting departmental goals and special projects. Qualifications Active RN or LPN license in good standing. Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience required, supervisory experience preferred. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Thorough knowledge of state and federal long-term care regulations.
