Job Description

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a Clinical Supervisor RN to lead our home health nursing teams. In this role, you will oversee clinical care delivery, supervise and mentor field nurses, and ensure compliance with regulatory and Aveanna standards. You will review and coordinate care plans, conduct chart audits and field visits, and support staff education and onboarding. Partnering closely with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary teams, you will drive quality outcomes and patient satisfaction while modeling Aveanna's culture of compassion, integrity, and clinical excellence. Responsibilities Provide clinical oversight to home health nursing teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care Supervise, mentor, and evaluate RNs, LPNs, and other field clinicians Develop, review, and update patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and families Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and Aveanna clinical standards Conduct case conferences, chart reviews, and field visits to monitor clinical performance Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and case assignments to meet patient needs Support onboarding, training, and ongoing clinical education for nursing staff Lead quality improvement initiatives and address patient or family concerns promptly Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes Maintain accurate documentation and participate in audits and performance reviews Required Skills Clinical assessment and critical thinking Care planning and case management Home health regulations and compliance Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation Staff supervision and performance management Patient and family education Quality improvement and auditing Interdisciplinary care coordination Time management and prioritization Conflict resolution and problem-solving
