Job Description
Job Summary Sappho Aesthetic Medicine is seeking an experienced Aesthetic Nurse or Nurse Practitioner to provide hands-on patient care while managing the day-to-day operations of our growing aesthetic medicine practice. This position is ideal for a clinically skilled, organized, and personable professional who enjoys patient care, consultations, ethical sales, and practice leadership. Our services include aesthetic injectables, laser hair reduction, medical-grade skincare, chemical peels, skin rejuvenation, hormone optimization, weight-loss support, IV wellness, and related aesthetic services. Responsibilities Provide safe, personalized aesthetic and wellness services within the scope of licensure and approved protocols. Perform or assist with cosmetic injectables, including neuromodulators and dermal fillers, based on training and Medical Director approval. Perform or assist with laser hair reduction and other laser services after training and competency validation. Conduct consultations, review patient goals, explain options, obtain consent, and coordinate follow-up care. Manage admissions, registration, check-in/check-out, scheduling, confirmations, rescheduling, and rebooking. Recommend treatment plans, packages, memberships, skincare, and maintenance services using a patient-centered approach. Respond to phone, website, text, and social-media inquiries and follow up with prospective patients. Oversee daily opening, closing, cleanliness, readiness, workflow, and patient flow. Coordinate staff schedules and support hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management. Manage ordering, storage, expiration monitoring, and inventory of injectables, skincare, retail products, and medical supplies. Maintain accurate clinical and business records, including treatment notes, photographs, consents, inventory, payments, and follow-up documentation. Help ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, infection-control, privacy, safety, and Medical Director requirements. Track patient satisfaction, reviews, leads, consultations, conversion, rebooking, retention, and revenue. Support marketing, referral programs, events, promotions, and community outreach. Required Qualifications Current, unrestricted Virginia RN or Nurse Practitioner license, or another clinical credential approved by the Medical Director and permitted by law. At least 2 years of nursing or clinical experience. Hands-on experience with cosmetic injectables, including neuromodulators and dermal fillers. Some experience with laser therapy; laser hair-reduction experience strongly preferred. Strong patient-service and communication skills. Comfort with consultations, treatment recommendations, lead follow-up, and ethical sales. Excellent organization, judgment, professionalism, and ability to work independently. Preferred Qualifications Aesthetic nursing, dermatology, plastic surgery, medical-spa, wellness, or skincare experience. Training or certification in injectables, laser therapy, or medical aesthetics. Practice-management, supervisory, scheduling, CRM, EMR, inventory, or payment-system experience. Bachelor's degree in nursing, healthcare administration, business, or a related field. Schedule & Compensation Full-time, in-person position in Vienna, Virginia.
