The weekend includes Saturday and Sunday. As the 11P-7A RN or LPN Nursing Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing patient care and ensuring the highest standard of clinical excellence and compassionate service. Your strong leadership skills and clinical expertise as a current RN or LPN will guide our nursing staff, promote a positive work environment, and contribute to the well-being and satisfaction of our residents.

Shift Availability :

11P-7A every weekend in the PRN status.

Responsibilities :

Supervise and coordinate nursing staff during the shift to ensure efficient and effective patient care. Assess and address patient needs promptly, providing support and guidance to nursing staff. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. Monitor and maintain adherence to healthcare protocols, policies, and regulations. Oversee the accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities and medical records. Act as a resource for nursing staff, offering guidance and support in challenging situations. Facilitate communication between shifts and maintain continuity of care. Participate in staff development and training to enhance the nursing team's knowledge and skills. Resolve any patient or family concerns and escalate issues to higher management as necessary. Ensure a safe and positive work environment, promoting teamwork and employee engagement.

Requirements :

Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Virginia. Proven experience as a Nurse Supervisor or in a leadership role within a healthcare setting. Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of nursing practices and procedures. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and make critical decisions during challenging situations. Proficient in electronic health records and computer applications. Demonstrated commitment to providing quality patient care and customer service. Availability to work the 11P-7A shift, every weekend and holidays as required. Must have experience in skilled nursing.
