Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Resident Care Manager to lead our caregiving team and oversee the delivery of exceptional resident care. In this vital role, you will coordinate clinical services, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and foster a supportive atmosphere that promotes residents' dignity and independence. Your leadership will directly impact the quality of life for our residents while maintaining high standards of safety and care excellence. Must have 2 years of skilled nursing experience and a valid RN/LPN license. Responsibilities Supervise nursing staff and care teams to deliver consistent, high-quality resident care aligned with regulatory standards and organizational policies Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans tailored to each resident's needs, including dementia, memory care, and long-term care requirements Ensure compliance with HIPAA, state healthcare regulations, long-term care regulations, and other applicable standards Oversee medical documentation, medication administration, IV infusion procedures, catheter care, and medical records management Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for discharge planning, case management, and utilization review processes Conduct regular assessments of residents' health status through vital signs monitoring, physical examinations, and physiological evaluations Lead staff training on medical terminology, infection control techniques such as aseptic technique, and emergency procedures including airway management and ventilator use Skills Extensive experience with Epic electronic health record (EHR) systems and other EMR platforms such as Cerner or Athenahealth Strong background in critical care environments including ICU or Level I & II trauma centers; experience with trauma or emergency medicine is highly valued Proven leadership in managing nursing teams within long-term or acute care settings; supervisory experience required Knowledge of

ICD-9/ICD-10

coding, CPT coding, DRG systems, and utilization management processes Skilled in patient assessment techniques involving vital signs, laboratory specimen collection/processing, diagnostic evaluation, and medical imaging interpretation Proficient in medication administration including injections, tube feeding management, catheterization procedures, phlebotomy, and sterile processing techniques Familiarity with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA and NCQA standards; experience working within state healthcare laws governing long-term care facilities Ability to communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams using managerial communication skills; experience managing care facility teams is essential Competence in managing complex cases involving geriatrics, behavioral health issues like dementia or Alzheimer's disease, pediatric or neonatal patients as needed Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology to support accurate patient assessments and treatment planning Join us as a Resident Care Manager to lead with compassion while ensuring the highest standards of resident safety and well-being.
