The RN Unit Manager job responsibilities include managing the nursing department in the Assisted Living Memory community with the goal of providing a safe, home-like environment where our residents can achieve and maintain their fullest level of wellness and function. This position utilizes sound clinical practices to maintain excellent quality care as well as manages the clinical team and oversees resident health and wellness through regular resident monitoring and communication.

Key Responsibilities:

Defines and maintains the standards of nursing practice within the facilityImplements nursing policy and procedure and ensures smooth operation of the clinical department. Other relevant duties as may be required or assigned.

Ensuring continued adherence to all federal, state, and local regulationsManagement and oversight of all nursing staffProviding planning, organization, education, supervision, and evaluation of all services provided in the facilityVerifying that all department staff is properly trained to perform their required dutiesEnsuring that operation of the Nursing Department remains consistently within budgetExperience with the applicable state Survey Rules & Regulations, Medicare and Medicaid
