Food Service Coordinator Liv Active Adult Day Care Fall River, MA Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance 401(k) Food provided Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Food Service Coordinator LivActive Adult Day Health is seeking a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Food Service Coordinator to join our growing team. This individual will be responsible for receiving and serving meals, monitoring and documenting food temperatures, maintaining required food service records, and ensuring compliance with Massachusetts Department of Public Health regulations and Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) guidelines. Schedule Full-Time Monday-Friday Compensation Competitive hourly rate (based on experience) Responsibilities Receive meals from our food vendor and verify that all hot and cold foods meet required temperature standards upon arrival. Monitor and document food temperatures upon arrival and immediately prior to serving participants in accordance with food safety regulations. Serve breakfast, lunch, and snacks to participants in a friendly and professional manner. Maintain accurate daily refrigerator and freezer temperature logs. Complete all required food service records, meal counts, and CACFP documentation accurately and on time. Ensure compliance with Massachusetts Department of Public Health regulations, food safety standards, and infection control practices. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and dining area. Monitor food inventory and notify management when supplies need to be reordered. Follow prescribed therapeutic diets, food allergies, and dietary restrictions as directed. Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to provide an enjoyable dining experience for participants. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in food service, dietary services, healthcare, senior nutrition, or a related setting preferred. ServSafe Certification preferred. Experience with the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) preferred. Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail. Ability to accurately maintain required logs and regulatory documentation. Friendly, dependable, and committed to providing exceptional service to our participants.
