We are looking for a dedicated, compassionate Part-Time Diet Technician to join our Food and Nutrition Services team! Working closely under the supervision of our Registered Dietitian, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional, individualized nutritional care.
What You'll Do Drive Resident Care & Documentation:
Complete comprehensive nutritional assessments, develop tailored care plans, address acute medical changes, and collaborate directly with residents, families, and healthcare teams. Be a
Collaborative Team Player:
Actively participate in interdisciplinary care plan meetings, family conferences, and team huddles.
Champion Resident Satisfaction:
Conduct regular meal rounds to engage with residents and ensure an outstanding dining experience.
Bridge Communication Gaps:
Maintain seamless communication with nursing personnel and medical practitioners regarding weight changes, clinical updates, and ongoing nutritional needs.
What We're Looking For Certification:
Active dietetic registration and a commitment to ongoing continuing education.
Preferred Experience:
Previous experience in long-term care settings. Strong working knowledge of MDS 3.0 . Familiarity with care planning, nutritional assessments, and relevant Federal/State regulations.
