This contract role is designed for those passionate about helping students thrivewhether building fine motor skills, increasing classroom participation, or empowering independence. With a flexible part-time schedule of 20 hours per week throughout the 2026/2027 school year, youll enjoy both meaningful work and work-life balance.
What were looking for:
Current and valid Occupational Therapist license Experience providing OT services in a school or pediatric setting preferred Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, families, and support staff Adaptability to serve students at different developmental stages Compassion, creativity, and commitment to developing individualized interventions Ability to travel between two nearby elementary campuses as needed What youll do: Conduct assessments to identify students functional needs within the school environment Develop and implement targeted therapy plans to help students meet their educational goals Integrate therapy strategies into classroom routines and work directly with teachers for maximum student benefit Participate in IEP meetings, maintain detailed progress notes, and prepare necessary reports Educate staff and families on strategies that support students independence and participation Monitor and adjust goals to ensure ongoing student progress If you thrive in school settings, cherish the chance to inspire children, and love collaborating with diverse education professionals, this contract role may be the perfect fit.
