What You'll Need:
Current, active Occupational Therapist license Previous experience in a school-based OT setting preferred Strong communication skills for working with students, teachers, and families Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 35 students and maintain organized documentation Readiness to participate in IEP meetings and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct OT services to elementary-aged students, with each student receiving 30 minutes per week as part of a balanced caseload Plan, implement, and adjust individualized interventions based on student progress Maintain accurate documentation of services, progress, and communications in accordance with school requirements Attend IEP meetings as necessary and provide valuable input for individualized educational plans Travel between assigned elementary sites, ensuring continuity and quality of care for all students
