Job Description

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as an Occupational Therapist serving two vibrant school communities in the Vail, AZ area. In this itinerant role, youll support students from Kindergarten through 8th grade across both a K8 and an elementary school. Your expertise will help students achieve their greatest potential while collaborating with a supportive education team.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Arizona Occupational Therapy license Current IVP fingerprint clearance card Experience with school-based OT, home health, or general healthcare settings Familiarity with the IEP process and related documentation Ability to adapt therapy techniques to a diverse caseload, spanning early elementary to middle school Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills Flexibility to travel between two assigned schools as an itinerant provider
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver therapeutic OT services tailored to students unique needs in accordance with IEP goals Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain progress reports Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student success Document services accurately in the IEP system utilized by the district Manage caseload and schedule efficiently across both schools Attend required meetings, including contract review sessions and board meetings, as needed Ensure all credentialing requirements are current, including background and fingerprint checks Candidates will enjoy the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in students lives, gain valuable school-based experience, and work within a committed, collaborative team from March 30th through May 28th, 2027.
