Job Description

Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by providing occupational therapy support in a school setting near Burbank, CA! This contract role offers up to 40 hours a week working across both elementary and secondary sites, assisting students with a range of needs. Begin as soon as possible and continue through the anticipated end of October, offering your valuable expertise while the district completes their permanent hire process.
Key Qualifications:
Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist in California Previous experience working in schools preferred Comfortable supporting mild/moderate to extensive student needs Ability to thrive in both elementary and secondary campus environments Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and caseloads
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Delivering direct and consultative OT services to students as outlined in their IEPs Traveling 3.5 days per week to an elementary school site, working with populations ranging from mild/moderate to extensive needs Serving 1.5 days per week at a secondary school site Evaluating students, completing documentation, and collaborating with multi-disciplinary school teams Supporting teachers and families with resources and strategies for student success in the classroom Maintaining timely and accurate student records
