Job Description

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity providing occupational therapy services to students across multiple school sites close to Chula Vista, CA. This full-time position offers hands-on involvement in the educational progress and daily success of students from various backgrounds. The assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through the end of the academic year. This role is an excellent fit for Occupational Therapists with a passion for supporting children and educators in a collaborative school setting. You will have opportunities to make a visible difference while experiencing day-to-day variety through service at multiple locations.
Qualifications & Experience Sought:
Valid California Occupational Therapist license (OT) Previous experience in a school environment is highly desirable Ability to manage a dynamic caseload across different campuses Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Flexibility and adaptability to different environments and student needs Dedication to fostering inclusive, positive learning environments
Role Responsibilities:
Assess and identify students' needs to develop customized intervention plans Deliver direct therapy services in individual or small group settings Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and families Document treatment goals, progress, and compliance with educational standards Support teacher and staff training for classroom strategies when needed Travel between assigned school sites as scheduled
