This contract opportunity covers 2-4 sites with the added advantage of COTA support. You'll connect with a diverse group of 55-60 students, focusing on their growth and success throughout the school year on a trimester-by-trimester basis. Enjoy a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, allowing for a predictable work-life rhythm.

Desired Background and Experience:

Current licensure and credentials as an Occupational Therapist Experience in school settings providing OT services to K-8th grade students Competence writing IEPs, documenting progress, and developing individualized treatment plans Strong communication skills to participate effectively in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Ability to travel between multiple school sites within the area as needed Experience working with or supervising Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in K-8th grade as determined by IEPs Write clear, comprehensive IEPs and maintain up-to-date documentation of student progress Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings and relevant school site events Collaborate with school staff, educators, and families to support student achievement Oversee and support assigned COTA staff to ensure quality interventions Rotate between 2-4 local school sites to provide flexible and responsive services This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with dedicated school teams while making a tangible impact in students educational journeys.
