Qualifications and Requirements:
Valid and current Occupational Therapist (OT) license in California (or eligibility to obtain before start) Previous experience in school-based settings preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and diverse teams Passion for supporting students growth and development
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and address the individual needs of students through evidence-based OT interventions Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support IEP goals Document student progress and provide clear, timely reports Participate in team meetings and contribute to holistic student care Educate staff and families about OT strategies and support
