- including the administering standardized tests, clinical observations, parent interviews, record review, scoring of standardized tests, and write-up of evaluation report with recommendations and goals Prepare appropriate treatment plans Prepare treatment sessions and materials as needed for sessions with clients Modify treatment plans as needed, and complete progress reports in a timely manner (about every 3-6 months as indicated by client's medical insurance).
- ABA/Behavioral Interventionists, PTs, speech therapists, pediatricians, psychologists, other specialists, etc.) Do proper documentation of services (we use an electronic medical record system
- Fusion). Supervise and work with Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and provide good leadership and guidance for the continuity of care of our clients. Supervise volunteers and fieldwork students (if any). Must have availability between 8:30AM
- 5:00PM Monday-Friday Position is for in-clinic setting only.
- Monthly one on one check ups (or as often as you'd like) to discuss caseload and what is important to your development, open door policy support, and as much or as little mentoring as needed. Requirements NBCOT Certified Current California Board of Occupational Therapy (CBOT) License Master's Degree (minimum) in Occupational Therapy 1 year minimum working in pediatrics for occupational therapy; outpatient pediatric clinic experience preferred Proof of BLS CPR certification Proof of negative TB test in last 4 years Pass background check (Live Scan) Knowledgeable in the administration and scoring of various standardized tests, such as: PDMS-3, DAYC-2, Bayley-4, VMI, BOT-3, Child Sensory Profile-2, Sensory Profile Measure, etc. Strong sensory integration background (Preferred) Experience with feeding difficulties in children (Preferred) Bilingual in Spanish or Vietnamese is a plus (but not required) If you're passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and their families, we'd love to hear from you.
