We are specifically seeking an OT with at least 2 years of pediatric experience and strong hands-on experience in pediatric feeding therapy. This position is ideal for a therapist who doesn't want to simply move from appointment to appointment. We are looking for someone who enjoys getting to know their children and families, thinks creatively when traditional approaches aren't working, and takes pride in seeing meaningful progress. What You'll Be Doing You will provide individualized occupational therapy to children with a variety of developmental, sensory, motor, and feeding needs.
Responsibilities include:
Conducting pediatric OT evaluations and developing individualized plans of care Providing skilled pediatric feeding therapy Addressing oral-sensory and sensory-based feeding challenges within the OT scope of practice Supporting sensory processing and regulation Developing fine-motor, visual-motor, self-care, and functional skills Creating engaging, play-based treatment sessions Educating and coaching parents to help carry skills into everyday routines Collaborating with SLPs, PTs, families, and other members of the child's care team Completing accurate and timely clinical documentation Monitoring progress and modifying treatment strategies based on each child's needs Who We're Looking For Our ideal candidate is an OT who is clinically strong, dependable, warm, and genuinely passionate about pediatrics.
Required:
Current California Occupational Therapist license Minimum 2 years of pediatric OT experience Hands-on pediatric feeding therapy experience Strong understanding of pediatric development and sensory-motor intervention Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills Ability to develop creative, child-centered treatment activities Commitment to high-quality, family-centered care Dependable and interested in a stable, long-term position Experience with children who have developmental delays, autism, sensory processing differences, restricted food repertoires, feeding challenges, and fine-motor/self-care needs is highly valued.
