What We Offer Competitive salary of $95-$105K $2,000 sign-on bonus Full-time W-2 employment Consistent clinic-based caseload One hour of dedicated documentation time daily Predictable daytime schedule Paid sick leave in accordance with California requirements Employer contribution toward 50% of eligible health insurance premiums Paid holidays Clinical and administrative support Streamlined documentation and scheduling systems Therapy materials and assessment resources Comfortable, child-friendly treatment environment Opportunities for professional growth Supportive leadership that values communication, collaboration, and work-life balance Position Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive pediatric occupational therapy evaluations Develop individualized, functional treatment plans Provide evidence-based occupational therapy services in the clinic Address fine-motor development, visual-motor integration, sensory processing, self-care skills, coordination, attention, and functional participation Establish measurable goals based on each child's needs and family priorities Complete treatment documentation and progress reports accurately and on time Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers regarding progress and home recommendations Collaborate with speech therapists, physical therapists, assistants, physicians, regional centers, and other professionals involved in the child's care Maintain professional, ethical, and regulatory standards Support a positive, respectful, and team-oriented clinical environment Qualifications Master's or doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Current California Occupational Therapist license or eligibility for California licensure NBCOT certification Current CPR certification Pediatric clinical experience preferred Knowledge of pediatric development, sensory processing, fine-motor development, and activities of daily living Strong communication, documentation, and time-management skills Reliable, professional, and committed to providing consistent care New graduates with strong pediatric clinical experience are encouraged to apply About Preferred Practice Therapy For more than 20 years, Preferred Practice Therapy has provided individualized, family-centered therapy services to children and families.
