Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Current California OT licensure (or eligibility) Previous experience with school-aged children preferred Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation requirements Strong communication skills for working closely with teachers, staff, and parents
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct therapy services individually and in groups as specified in students IEPs Conduct assessments and develop intervention strategies to enhance student participation and performance in school activities Document progress and maintain thorough, timely records in compliance with school and state guidelines Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address students needs Participate in IEP meetings, contributing assessments, goals, and recommendations Educate school staff and families about strategies to support student success beyond therapy sessions This contract role offers you the satisfaction of supporting young learners while experiencing the vibrant atmosphere of the local community.
