Learn more about working at Infinity Kids here: https://infinitykids.com/come-work-at-infinity-kids/ Senior Pediatric Occupational Therapist - Feeding & Swallowing (SWC) Full-Time or Part-Time | Lake Forest, CA Infinity Kids is looking for an experienced Pediatric Occupational Therapist with a strong background in pediatric feeding and swallowing to join our Lake Forest team. California Advanced Practice approval in Swallowing Assessment, Evaluation, or Intervention (SWC) is strongly preferred. This is an exciting opportunity for a tenured clinician who loves treating children and families but is also interested in becoming a clinical resource and mentor to other therapists . We are looking for someone who can help strengthen and expand our feeding program while supporting the continued development of our OT team. The ideal candidate brings significant hands-on pediatric feeding experience, strong clinical judgment, and a collaborative approach to care. Experience with sensory-based feeding challenges, oral-motor development, feeding delays, selective eating, and more complex feeding presentations is highly valued. What Makes This Role Unique In addition to maintaining a pediatric caseload, this clinician will have the opportunity to: Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for occupational therapists treating children with feeding challenges. Help strengthen Infinity Kids' pediatric feeding therapy program and clinical approach. Provide guidance and mentorship to clinicians developing their feeding knowledge and skills. Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, physical therapists, and families. Support clinical decision-making for more complex feeding cases. Help identify opportunities for continuing education and development of the team's feeding competencies. Provide high-quality feeding assessment and intervention within the clinician's demonstrated scope of competency and California licensure/advanced-practice requirements. Responsibilities Perform initial occupational therapy evaluations and standardized testing to develop individualized plans of care. Evaluate and treat children birth through age 12 with developmental, sensory, motor, and feeding-related needs. Provide individualized feeding intervention based on each child's developmental, sensory, oral-motor, and functional needs. Track client progress through evaluations, progress reports, treatment documentation, and discharge summaries. Educate and collaborate with parents to promote carryover of therapeutic strategies at home and during mealtimes. Collaborate with physicians, SLPs, teachers, and other professionals involved in the child's care when appropriate. Conduct periodic meetings with families to review progress, goals, and concerns. Mentor and support other Infinity Kids clinicians seeking to strengthen their pediatric feeding skills. Maintain consistent treatment schedules and an expectation of approximately 80% clinical productivity. Preferred Qualifications Current California Occupational Therapist license. California Advanced Practice approval in Swallowing Assessment, Evaluation, or Intervention (SWC) strongly preferred . Several years of pediatric occupational therapy experience. Significant experience evaluating and treating pediatric feeding difficulties. Experience with sensory-based feeding, oral-motor development, selective eating, food expansion, and family-centered feeding intervention. Additional pediatric feeding education or training, such as SOS Approach to Feeding or other recognized feeding programs, is a plus. Experience mentoring, supervising, or providing clinical education to other therapists is highly valued. Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills. Schedule Full-time or part-time opportunities are available, with a minimum commitment of three days per week.
