Shift Details:

8hrs 08:30 AM to 05:00 PM 40 hours, work week

Occupational Therapist Duties & Responsibilities:

Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans based on functional needs. Provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, coordination, daily living skills, and overall functional independence. Monitor and document patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and maintain accurate clinical records. Educate patients on therapeutic exercises, adaptive techniques, and strategies to support safe and independent functioning. Collaborate with the healthcare team and correctional staff to coordinate patient care while maintaining confidentiality and complying with facility security protocols. Follow all applicable clinical, safety, and correctional facility policies and perform other duties within the scope of practice. Minimum Qualifications CA OT License required Travel Occupational Therapist with hand experience (CHT) Active BLS Additional certifications may be required Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
