1 Description American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week home health assignment in the Sacramento/Folsom and Woodland/Yolo County areas of California. Details Home health care setting serving the northeastern Sacramento into Folsom area and the Woodland/Yolo County service area Day shift, Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM (8-hour shifts) Average of four visits per day, consisting of a combination of evaluations and revisits Float requirement: first to float Charting is completed in Cerner Requirements Active CA OT license required (license required if applicable) Minimum 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting Current BLS certification required (pending certifications not accepted) Active NPI number required Valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance required COTA candidates with home health experience will be considered if no OT applicants are available 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months worked, and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years worked (must include dates of employment and eligibility for rehire) Copy of driver's license required for consideration Additional Information Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and revisit sessions for home health patients across the assigned coverage area Candidates must not have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility within the past year; candidates previously employed PRN through outside firms will be considered Local candidates are accepted for this position
