•$70 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Interpersonal skills Assisting with ADLs Home health Early intervention Occupational Therapy License Full Job Description Early Intervention Occupational Therapist (OT) Schooling Fish Therapies LLC is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide early intervention services to children ages 0-3 in their homes. This is a rewarding opportunity for an OT who enjoys working directly with young children and their families and wants to make a meaningful impact during one of the most important stages of a child's development. Service Areas We are currently looking for OTs serving families in: Moreno Valley, CA Loma Linda, CA Fontana, CA San Bernardino County and surrounding Inland Empire communities Travel is primarily within the therapist's selected service area. Position Responsibilities Provide occupational therapy intervention services to children ages 0-3. Deliver services in the child's home. Develop individualized treatment plans based on each child's developmental needs and family priorities.
Address developmental skills including:
Fine motor skills Gross motor development Sensory processing Visual-motor and perceptual skills Self-care and daily living skills Play skills and participation in age-appropriate activities Coach and collaborate with parents and caregivers to help them incorporate therapeutic strategies into everyday routines. Collaborate with other members of the child's early intervention team, including speech therapists, physical therapists, developmental specialists, and service coordinators. Maintain timely and accurate documentation and progress notes. Communicate professionally and compassionately with families regarding their child's progress and ongoing needs. What We're Looking For Current California Occupational Therapist license. Experience working with children is preferred, but new graduates with a strong interest in pediatrics are encouraged to apply. Experience with early intervention or children ages 0-3 is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build positive relationships with young children and their families. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within your designated service area. Comfortable providing therapy in family homes and natural environments.
