About the Opportunity Nanny Village is recruiting an Occupational Therapist for a boutique private school dedicated to serving neurodivergent elementary-aged children. Join a well-resourced multidisciplinary team where occupational therapy is integrated into classroom learning, daily routines, and each student's school experience. You will work closely with teachers and the Director to help students develop independence, strengthen functional skills, and participate meaningfully in their education. This opportunity offers compensation up to $200,000, comprehensive benefits, and ongoing professional development. Compensation and Benefits Annual salary based on education and experience, up to $200,000 100% employer-paid medical and dental benefits Vision benefits available 401(k) with employer contribution Approximately 38 days of scheduled school breaks annually, including summer, winter, spring, and holiday recesses 12 paid holidays 10 days of paid sick time Tuition reimbursement Ongoing professional development What You'll Do Student Services Provide individualized and small-group occupational therapy through classroom-based and pull-out services. Build fine motor, visual-motor, and coordination skills that support handwriting, scissor use, and everyday school activities. Develop individualized sensory strategies and sensory diets to support regulation, engagement, and readiness for learning. Support self-care skills and activities of daily living relevant to the school day. Recommend adaptive equipment, seating, tools, and environmental modifications based on student needs. Collaboration and Classroom Support Partner with teachers to integrate accommodations and OT strategies into daily classroom routines. Collaborate with the Director to develop, implement, and refine treatment plans. Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and individualized student goal planning. Support family communication in coordination with the Director. Build positive working relationships with colleagues, families, and community partners. Assessment and Documentation Conduct standardized and non-standardized assessments of students' functional abilities and school participation. Prepare clear evaluation reports with practical recommendations for school and home. Present assessment findings and monitor progress toward individualized goals. Maintain accurate, confidential, and timely records of services, consultations, and communications. Required Qualifications Degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program and education and training appropriate for the role. Current California occupational therapist license through the California Board of Occupational Therapy (CBOT). Current National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification. Strong background in sensory integration and experience supporting autistic children and children with sensory processing and regulation differences. Understanding of child development and how neurodevelopmental differences affect learning, participation, and daily functioning. Strong assessment, report writing, documentation, and communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, clinicians, and families. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a private, independent, or non-public school. Additional certification or advanced training in sensory integration. Schedule Full-time, Monday-Friday, with approximately 204 workdays aligned with the school calendar. Occasional work outside regular school hours is required.
