1 Description American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for an Inpatient Rehab unit, requiring a CA OT license, Master's degree, and at least 1 year of acute care and adult rehab facility experience. Details Inpatient Rehabilitation unit setting Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM May be required to float to other affiliated facilities within a 75+ mile radius Epic charting system experience preferred Requirements Current CA Occupational Therapist license required, if applicable AHA BLS certification required Master's degree in Occupational Therapy required, Doctorate degree preferred Minimum 1 year of experience required, excluding clinical rotations Acute care and adult rehabilitation facility experience required Teaching hospital experience preferred and must be noted in employment history Proof of COVID vaccination and booster required, or scheduled appointment prior to start date Two professional references from most recent employer required at time of submission Additional Information Provide inpatient rehabilitation therapy services including evaluation, treatment planning, and discharge planning for adult patients Work with diverse patient populations including CVA, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, amputee, and neurological conditions Utilize skills in prosthetics/orthotics, splinting, and adaptive equipment assessment Perform wheelchair evaluations, home assessments, and pre-discharge planning Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel candidates Prior travel experience within the last 12 months required Any previous employment with University of California medical facilities or affiliated facilities must be disclosed with full employment history for rehire eligibility review RTO requests must be disclosed at time of submission and approved by the manager prior to offer; no additional RTO requests accepted mid-contract; RTO not permitted within the first two weeks of assignment
