Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into an engaging opportunity to support students as an Occupational Therapist during a maternity leave assignment. This onsite, contract position covers the period from September 2026 through December 2026, with the possibility of extension. You'll work with a diverse student population, leveraging your expertise to help children develop essential skills in both classroom and individualized settings.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
Licensure as an Occupational Therapist Experience supporting students in school-based environments Background in providing OT services in healthcare, home health, or teletherapy settings Skilled in developing and implementing fine motor skill interventions Familiarity with collaborating alongside teachers, counselors, and other service providers Strong communication and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver targeted occupational therapy interventions to support students' educational goals Conduct evaluations and create individualized education program (IEP) goals Develop and update progress reports on student achievement and areas of need Consult with school staff, caregivers, and families to ensure a coordinated approach to student success Adapt activities and materials to foster improved fine motor skills and independence Participate in relevant meetings and offer expertise to the multidisciplinary team This assignment offers competitive pay between $45 and $55 per hour.
