This full-time opportunity will have you working 40 hours per week, filling in for a leave of absence starting as soon as possible and continuing through December 1. Qualifications:

Masters or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Active California OT license Previous experience in a K-12 educational setting is highly desirable Understanding of the Individualized Education Program (IEP) process and documentation requirements Excellent communication skills with students, families, and school staff Ability to manage a caseload and adapt to changing demands in a school environment

Responsibilities:

Evaluate students to determine individual OT needs and develop relevant intervention plans Deliver direct therapy services in alignment with IEP goals, using evidence-based approaches Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to support student access and participation in the classroom Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and progress notes Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development and review Provide education and resources to families and school personnel to further student progress This position offers a unique chance to engage with a diverse student population and make a profound difference throughout the assignment.
