We're hiring an Occupational Therapist (OT) in Union City for an initial 3-month contract with the potential to extend. You'll provide treatment and interventions for older adults and medically complex patients in a center-based setting. You'll work as part of an interdisciplinary team and have the opportunity to provide direct treatment while also helping guide rehabilitation aides, patients, and family members with ongoing functional maintenance programs. Why This Role Earn up to $60/hr Initial 3-month contract with potential for extension Work with an established interdisciplinary clinical team Combination of direct patient care and rehabilitation program support Center-based clinical environment What You'll Do Provide occupational therapy treatments and interventions based on individual patient needs Develop and support functional maintenance programs Train and provide guidance to rehabilitation aides, patients, and family members Collaborate with nurses, physicians, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team Recommend and track appropriate rehabilitation equipment Participate in care planning, team meetings, and clinical problem-solving Complete required documentation and other clinical responsibilities What You'll Need Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program Current California Occupational Therapist license Successful completion of NBCOT certification requirements At least 2 years of experience working with physical disabilities Experience working with geriatric or medically frail populations Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a clinical team If you're an Occupational Therapist who enjoys working with older adults and wants a role that combines hands-on care with collaboration and clinical support, we'd love to hear from you.
