Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
Active licensure as an Occupational Therapist in California Previous experience in school-based settings preferred Strong ability to communicate and collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Passion for empowering students with diverse needs Adaptable to changing schedules and flexible in dynamic environments Commitment to evidence-based interventions and child-centered care
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and create individualized treatment plans for students Work closely with teachers to integrate OT strategies into the classroom setting Implement interventions to enhance participation in academic and daily living activities Monitor progress and adjust treatment goals in partnership with families and school staff Document all services and maintain accurate case notes in compliance with school policies Serve as a resource for staff, providing tools and recommendations for student support
