Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract position providing Occupational Therapy services across four school sites serving early childhood through high school students. This role offers the unique opportunity to work with a diverse caseload in a collaborative educational environment, making a meaningful difference in the lives of students and their families. Your expertise will help shape positive outcomes for approximately 30 students, with the support of staff eager to integrate your input into their programs.
Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive Occupational Therapy assessments and implement targeted interventions for students ages early childhood to high school Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams at Olathe ECC, Olathe Elementary, Olathe Middle/High, and Oak Grove Elementary to develop and monitor IEPs Document student progress, maintain thorough records, and communicate effectively with educators and families Travel between four designated school campuses as scheduled Provide in-service training and resources for school staff as needed
Qualifications:
Active Colorado Occupational Therapist license (submit verification with application) Active Colorado certification through the Department of Education (submit verification with application) Previous experience as a school-based Occupational Therapist is highly preferred Familiarity with adapting therapy techniques for varying age groups and needs Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
