This .75 FTE opportunity blends direct and indirect therapeutic services in a vibrant educational setting near Parachute, CO.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Active Occupational Therapist license in Colorado (or eligibility) Experience providing OT services in school settings Familiarity with IEP development and collaborative special education practices Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to successfully conduct screenings, assessments, and interventions for a diverse student population
Role Responsibilities:
Screen and evaluate students to determine need for OT services Collaborate with educators, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to develop IEPs Design and implement individualized and group therapy sessions Document progress and adapt interventions as needed Attend and contribute to meetings, ensuring compliance with special education regulations Consult with staff and families to facilitate generalization of skills and provide resources
