Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity providing essential occupational therapy services in an educational setting for the upcoming academic year. This contract position offers a chance to work with a supportive network of educational professionals and help shape the daily lives of K-12 students across four buildings. The assignment runs from August 17, 2026, through May 28, 2027, with a weekly commitment of 37.5 hours and a manageable caseload of 40-50 students.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Current, active licensure as an Occupational Therapist Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred Familiarity with IEP development and implementation Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Comfortable managing services across multiple school buildings Skilled in working with students of various ages and abilities (K-12)
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and assess students to determine therapy needs in line with educational goals Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans, collaborating with teachers and parents Support students' independence and participation in classroom activities through targeted interventions Document therapy sessions and progress according to school protocols and legal requirements Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert recommendations Adapt therapy and service delivery in response to student growth and changing needs Provide resources and guidance to staff and families as needed This is an excellent chance to make a meaningful impact on a diverse K-12 population while experiencing a dynamic and collaborative educational environment.
