Active Connecticut Occupational Therapist (OT) licenserequired for consideration Previous experience serving children or young adults in school settings, either through fieldwork or prior roles Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other support staff Flexibility and adaptability to travel between school sites as needed Commitment to engaging students with diverse needs and delivering creative, individualized interventions Your key responsibilities: Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in accordance with their IEPs and district policies Assess, develop, and implement intervention strategies designed to improve students participation in their daily academic and life skills Maintain organized, thorough documentation of assessments, interventions, and student progress Participate actively in IEP meetings and school-based team consultations, sharing your expertise on best practices and recommendations Travel between assigned school locations within the district, supporting staff and students on-site Travel professionals appreciate the opportunity to build lasting relationships and expand their clinical expertise in a supportive setting.
