1 Description American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist with 2+ years of experience for an outpatient setting specializing in neuro and orthopedic cases in Danbury, CT. Details Outpatient OT setting Specialty focus includes neurological rehabilitation, orthopedics, and splinting Department hours are Monday-Thursday 7:00 AM-8:00 PM and Friday 7:00 AM-5:00 PM Scheduled shift is 7:00 AM-3:30 PM with hours varying Two evening shifts per week are required No weekend shifts required Requirements Current, active CT OT license required (license required if applicable) Minimum 2 years of experience as an OT Minimum 1 year of experience in an outpatient setting Only AHA certifications are accepted for BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP Two professional references rated 'standard or above average' from a manager or above within the prior year Experience with LSVT preferred Experience using MoCA (Montreal Cognitive Assessment) preferred Additional Information Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility are eligible to apply but may be considered at a reduced rate Candidates who have previously worked at this health system may be subject to a review process to determine eligibility to return Facility uses Kronos for timekeeping Completion of facility-required onboarding modules will be required prior to assignment start
