Your expertise in occupational therapy will focus on helping individuals develop, recover, or maintain the skills needed for daily living and work. You will also educate clients and their families on strategies to promote independence, safety, and overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
Assess clients' physical and cognitive abilities to develop personalized treatment plans Implement and modify treatment plans to meet clients' changing needs Monitor and record clients' progress, making adjustments as necessary Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care Educate clients and their families on occupational therapy techniques and strategies Maintain accurate and detailed records of client care and progress
Requirements:
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution Current licensure to practice occupational therapy in the state of Connecticut Ability to travel to clients' homes and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
