Summary As an Occupational Therapist (OT) at Health Care of South Florida, you will provide skilled therapy services to patients in their homes and assisted living facilities (ALFs). This role is essential in helping patients regain independence and improve their ability to perform daily activities, enhancing their overall quality of life. Responsibilities Provide occupational therapy services in home and ALF settings. Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on goals and needs. Implement therapeutic interventions to improve daily living skills (ADLs). Educate patients and caregivers on techniques to promote independence and safety. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and agency standards. Qualifications Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of Florida. Previous home health experience (Required). Strong knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and patient care practices. Bilingual - Spanish (Plus) Experience with Kinnser (Plus) Current CPR certification (Required) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse patient populations.
