Occupational Therapist (Part Time) The Recovery Team - 3.1 Delray Beach, FL Job Details Part-time 12 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications Behavioral health hospital experience Care documentation Outpatient experience Occupational Therapy Group counseling Occupational Therapy License Group therapy instruction Full Job Description We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our multidisciplinary clinical team on a part-time basis. This role will have a strong focus on facilitating therapeutic groups for individuals receiving inpatient and outpatient treatment for mental health and substance use disorders. Schedule Part-Time - 2 days per week 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM Flexible on which 2 days, Monday-Friday, open to candidate picking up more days. Responsibilities Facilitate occupational therapy and therapeutic skills groups for patients in inpatient and outpatient programming. Develop and lead engaging groups focused on coping skills, life skills, daily living, wellness, emotional regulation, social functioning, and recovery. Conduct occupational therapy assessments and develop individualized treatment recommendations. Adapt group activities and interventions based on patient needs and level of care. Collaborate with therapists, medical providers, nursing, and other members of the multidisciplinary treatment team. Maintain timely and accurate documentation of group participation, interventions, and patient progress. Qualifications Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Current and unrestricted Occupational Therapist license in the applicable state. Comfortable and experienced facilitating therapeutic groups. Behavioral health, mental health, psychiatric, or substance use treatment experience strongly preferred. Experience in inpatient, residential, PHP, IOP, or outpatient treatment settings is a plus. Strong communication, organization, and group facilitation skills.
