Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Contractor Position. AT Services Pediatric Therapy Center. North Miami Beach, FL. AT Services is seeking a passionate and energetic Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our growing team as an Independent Contractor. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse pediatric population in both clinic and school-based settings, providing meaningful intervention that helps children reach their full potential.
Position Overview:
Independent Contractor (1099). Flexible schedule. Clinic and school-based caseload. Pediatric population (ages 2-21). Competitive per-visit/per-hour compensation. Opportunity to build and maintain a consistent caseload.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate and treat pediatric patients with a variety of developmental, sensory, motor, behavioral, and functional needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Collaborate with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary team members. Complete timely and accurate documentation. Provide parent and caregiver education. Maintain compliance with state and payer requirements.
Qualifications:
For Occupational Therapists (OTR/L): Active Florida Occupational Therapy License. Pediatric experience preferred. Strong clinical and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage schedule efficiently. For Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA): Active Florida COTA License. Pediatric experience preferred. Ability to implement treatment plans under supervision of an OTR/L. Strong teamwork and communication skills.
