Role:

Provide occupational therapy services within the scope of practice to patients in a rehabilitation setting Communicate and respond clearly via telephone and respond to patient's needs Ensure HIPAA guidelines and procedures are maintained Perform evaluations and assessments to identify treatment goals and plans Must be currently licensed in the state of Florida Prefer one year of experience in occupational therapy Valid CPR card and all documentation up to date: professional license, driver's license, CPR, CEU's, Physical, and background check (ACHA)

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop personalized treatment plans Develop and implement occupational therapy treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team Provide direct patient care and instruction to patients and their families Document patient progress and treatment plans accurately and in a timely manner Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in occupational therapy
