Qualifications:
Current license as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in Florida Experience working in schools or with school-aged children preferred Strong understanding of IEPs and educational documentation Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to collaborate with educators, support staff, and families Compassionate approach and patient demeanor
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations to identify students' therapy needs within a school setting Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support student learning and development Collaborate with teachers and other school professionals to integrate therapy goals with classroom activities Maintain accurate and timely records of student progress and therapy services provided Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans Offer training and support to staff and families on strategies and adaptive techniques Work flexibly to meet the needs of multiple students or schools as assigned This per diem position is designed for those who appreciate flexibility and the rewarding pace of working across different environments.
