Occupational Therapist OTR/L (Per diem) Sunrise Heath & Rehab Center Sunrise, FL Job Details Per diem $50 - $55 an hour 16 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Teamwork Skilled nursing facility experience Patient service OTR Occupational Therapy License Full Job Description Sunrise Health and Rehab is currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Per diem Occupational Therapist (OTR) to join our team! The Occupational Therapist (OTR) organizes and conducts occupational therapy programs for the in-house Therapy Department. The OT will facilitate learning those skills and functions essential for adaptation and productivity to diminish or correct pathology.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Screen, examine and evaluate patients, including history, systems review, and application of appropriate tests and measures, synthesize information, interpret examination findings to establish a diagnosis, and identify impairments. Develop appropriate treatment goals and methods in collaboration with the patient and caregivers, implement the occupational therapy treatment plan, and complete all related documentation and record-keeping regarding these services. Supervision of Occupational Therapy Assistants. Attend and contributes to patient care, staffing conferences, and other related meetings. Consult with other disciplines and agencies to address the patient's comprehensive needs.

ensures that patients and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individuals' needs and rights. Design fabricates, fits, and applies adaptive devices and trains patients to use adaptive devices, including orthotics and prosthetics.
REQUIREMENTS
Must have a valid Occupational Therapy License in Florida Experience working in skilled nursing and rehab preferred.
Pay:
$50.00 - $55.00 per hour
