8665263-30113 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students in a vibrant educational environment near Buchanan, GA! A dedicated and adaptable Occupational Therapist is needed to help students achieve their full potential through individualized support and therapy. Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff as you make a meaningful difference in students academic and personal growth.
Qualifications & Experience:
Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Active OT license in Georgia (or ability to obtain) Experience working in a school-based OT setting preferred Comfortable serving children across K-12 grade levels Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation Strong collaboration and communication skills Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to meet each students needs
Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and assessments for students referred for OT services Develop individualized treatment plans to address fine motor, sensory, or functional skills Provide direct and consultative OT services within the school environment Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute expert insights for goal development Track and document student progress in accordance with school and state guidelines Educate and consult with teachers, parents, and other professionals to maximize student success Promote independence and participation in school routines and activities
