Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract A full-time onsite Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) position is available at a school district near Columbus, GA. The role involves providing occupational therapy services within an educational setting, supporting students' developmental and functional needs.
Location:
Hamilton, GA (school locations within the district are yet to be determined)
Contract Duration:
Immediate start through May 21, 2026, with the option to continue for the next school year from August 3, 2026, through May 21, 2027
Work Hours:
Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day)
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy evaluations and interventions tailored to students' individual educational plans Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress Maintain accurate documentation of services rendered and progress notes Adapt therapy techniques to meet the diverse needs of the student caseload
Qualifications and Experience:
Active Georgia Occupational Therapist license required Minimum of one year of clinical experience preferred, including pediatrics in a school or similar setting COTAs with relevant school-based experience are encouraged to apply and will be prioritized Must be available to work onsite
