Your expertise will be utilized in a dynamic schedule, providing services at Cloverdale Elementary (as a second OT) and at St. Isadore, delivering both direct and proportionate share services based on student needs. The assignment is set to begin as soon as possible and will continue through June 9th, with the potential to wrap up earlier if emergency days are not used.

Key qualifications:

Active Illinois Occupational Therapy Licensure required Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred Solid understanding of IEP development, documentation, and goal tracking Collaborative spirit with the ability to work alongside educators, families, and related service providers Confident communication skills to engage with students, staff, and families

Responsibilities:

Provide direct and indirect occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document student progress Collaborate with colleagues and participate in IEP meetings as needed Offer recommendations for classroom strategies, accommodations, and modifications to support student engagement and participation Serve as a valued resource in navigating educational challenges and celebrating each student's growth This is your chance to make an immediate difference in the classroom and community by contributing your specialized skills.
